Our VKA Waiting List policy and procedures are administered transparently. It supports the availability of information about the waiting list for prospective parents or guardians in a way that maintains the privacy and confidentiality of children. We strive to accommodate all requests to register a child at our childcare centre.
Where a program's maximum capacity has been reached and spaces are unavailable for new children to be enroled, the waitlist procedures below will be followed.
Viva Kids Academy maintains a current and up-to-date waitlist. This waitlist is used when filling available childcare spots at our centre.
Parents will need to complete the waitlist form online. WAITLIST FORM
Viva Kids Academy does not charge or collect a fee or deposit for placing a child on our waitlist for admission to our childcare centre.
Placing A Child On The Waiting List:
Viva Kids Academy will place a child on the waiting list in chronological order based on the date and time the request was received once a form is completed.
Once a child has been placed on the waiting list, we will inform parents of their child’s position on the list.
Priority is given to:
Children of Viva Kids Academy staff members;
Children who are currently enrolled and need to move to the next age grouping;
Siblings of children presently enrolled in Viva Kids Academy;
First come, first serve basis, according to the date when you registered your name on the waitlist;
When a specific start date and program room availability match an opening for a childcare spot.
Once these children have been placed, the other children on the waiting list will be prioritized based on their chronological order and program availability.
